Salary: £42,913 to £49,780 per annum. Please note that the starting salary is £42,913 per annum, with the opportunity to progress up the scale over time. This includes London weighting.

Freedom from Torture is looking for a Senior Trusts and Grants Fundraising Manager to join our new, friendly Philanthropy and Partnerships Team. This is an exciting chance to join us as we place survivor empowerment and movement building at the heart of our next four year strategy. 

 

About the role

You will develop and implement plans for the delivery of the team’s fundraising strategy from Trusts, Statutory funders and Foundations to deliver income targets and to manage team activities in this area. You will work very closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships deputising as and when required; to develop and implement a strategy and plan to grow Trusts and Grant income in order to meet the organisation’s growth targets in the short and long term. You will line manage four Fundraisers across the trusts and grants team.

 

You will personally secure income from Trusts and Grants preparing high quality funding applications and solicitation plans. You will be responsible for review and sign off on Trust and Grant applications and donor reports to Trusts and Foundations. Additionally, you will maintain excellent stewardship of our donors.

 

About you

To be successful in this role you must have experience of managing a Trust, Institutional funder or Grant Fundraising function in the charity sector with significant experience of achieving or exceeding agreed goals on income growth.

You must have demonstrable experience and skill in developing successful growth strategies and plans for Trust Institutional funder or Grant fundraising.

 

You will need experience of fundraising from a variety of Institutional funders and of personally securing six figure multiyear donations. 

 

It’s essential that you have the ability to develop and manage income budgets, monitoring financial performance against targets.
