Since 1985 Freedom from Torture has been the only UK human rights organization dedicated to treating and supporting torture survivors who seek refuge in the UK. We do this primarily through psychological therapies but also services which document torture forensically, practical legal and welfare support and creative groups.


Thanks to the dedication of our staff and volunteers – as well as thousands of passionate supporters and funders – thousands of torture survivors have been able to rebuild their lives in incredibly difficult circumstances.


We are looking to expand our team of fundraising volunteers to help raise our profile and funds across the areas where we work so we can help more survivors of torture. ⦁      Community Fundraising Volunteer – office based in London – Your role will help us to increase community support by supporting on projects such as seasonal fundraising campaigns, providing vital admin support or helping us to identify new areas of opportunity.

⦁      Local Group Fundraising Volunteer – office based in London - Your role will help us to provide additional support and resources to some of our most committed and loyal supporters and could include supporting on adding to our fundraising support materials and resources, updating the website and providing vital admin support.

⦁      Corporate Fundraising intern – office based in London – Your role will help us to increase support from corporates, and could include working on both new business research, developing our community corporate support close to our centres and supporting on Account manager.
